Karie Downing, RYT is a Registered Yoga Teacher (YA), Meditation Teacher, Outdoor Adventure Guide and Birth Doula. Utilizing the physical practice of yoga as a gateway to access the mental, emotional and spiritual body, Karie strives to inclusively support students as they create an enlivened and engaged life.
Currently, Karie’s instruction is largely informed by her own journey to rehabilitate injuries sustained in a car accident and those influenced by years of cycling. Her classes are fundamentally alignment-based, thoughtfully challenging, calm and reflective. Karie’s style is heavily influenced by long term sustainable movement, artful self-reflection, with a passion for creating a space where all are truly welcome.
