Following the 8-limbed path encompasses not only the physical practice of yoga, but also integrates a holistic approach that focuses on the whole and completeness of an individual. Combining experience with chronic pain, injury recovery and inflexibility Karie’s approach is to facilitate a sustainable alignment-based practice – while paying special attention to breath work (prāṇāyāma) that allows for the cultivation of a mind-body awareness. For it is when the physical body is held with integrity and loving kindness, the union between body, mind and spirit can begin to flourish.
