A sacred sanctuary for Salish Coast tribes for generations,

Doe Bay is now home to a rustic resort and retreat center complete with cabins, yurts, campsites, massage rooms, a waterfront organic cafe, and a scenic sauna / hot-tub spa set next to a waterfall overlooking Otter Cove and Puget Sound.

The air is different here. Ancient trees, a mossy forest floor, and sea breeze combine into a restorative calming balm with every passing breath. It’s why they call the San Juan Islands the jewel of the Pacific Northwest. You will leave better than when you arrived.

Amenities:

Doe Bay Cafe

Our goal is to offer you affordable, nutritious options for food while at Imagine. At the heart of the property is the Doe Bay Cafe, which serves a delicious seasonal pescatarian menu, with lots of veggie and vegan options. Many of their ingredients are sourced locally, or are grown in their own garden (which is right next to the Main Stage).  Be sure to check them out while you are at Doe Bay.

Doe Bay Spa

The clothing-optional sauna & hot tub spa will be open from 8am to 10pm each day of the festival and is free to all Imagine attendees. Relax and renew by a waterfall overlooking the sound! For cleanliness, and in respect of others, please be sure to use the spa shower before using the sauna or hot tubs – every time.

Showers and Bathrooms

In addition to the showers at the Spa area, there are two community bathhouses with showers on-site. There are several public bathrooms as well as many portolets.

Massage

Doe Bay has several massage therapists available during Imagine that you can book in advance through their website or call 360-376-2291. Get loose for some dancing, or soothe sore muscles from previous booty shaking!

No pets

We have a no pets policy – please do not bring your pets. There is a kennel on Orcas Island if needed.

No Personal Fires of Any Kind

It’s been especially dry this summer on Orcas Island, like so much of the West Coast, and as a result, there is a county wide burn ban.  This means no campfires, charcoal grills, candles, fireworks, or unauthorized fire spinning of any kind. Propane camp stoves are allowed and should be attended at all times!  There is also a community kitchen available for preparing meals that has two kitchen stoves.  If you are a smoker, please be very careful about extinguishing and disposing of your butts properly.

No Personal Sound Systems

Please be respectful of the natural soundscape and beauty of Doe Bay. We will provide tons of fantastic music all weekend long, so please do not bring or use your own sound system.
