Conscious Evolution

Conscious Evolution

Dr. Krikor Andonian (KR3TURE)

What we inherited from our ancient ancestors and how we can direct our future evolution.

How did humans evolve to have such unique culture and self-aware consciousness? How has human culture been evolving over time and when in our ancestry did spirituality appear? How can the blessings that we inherited from our ancestors constrain our current and future potential? And how can we move to the next level of our potential? Together in this workshop we will go back in time and uncover the biological and cultural processes that led to the current human state of affairs and also develop the tools to aid in next major cultural shift, our Conscious Evolution.

Dr. Krikor Andonian is a plant ecologist, herbalist, and an instructor at UC Santa Cruz. His interests and expertise vary broadly and include: ecology, invasive species, evolution, human history, cultural evolution, medicinal plants, environmental science, sustainability, and re-wilding. He has taught at UC Santa Cruz, CSU Monterey Bay, De Anza College, and UC Berkeley Extension and he is equally at home in lecture halls, wilderness, or in workshops at festivals. His goals are to raise awareness of the natural world, our connection to it, and our ancestral origins through the use of science and inquiry.

Transformational Gatherings Panel

Transformational Gatherings Panel

Imagine is one of many in-person gatherings taking place to consciously evolve culture across the globe. Come converse with a seasoned group of event producers about: Why we produce gatherings? Why do you participate in them? What’s going well, or could be done better? What’s the point of diversity? Are psychedelics a boon or holding us back? How can we integrate the culture of these ephemeral gatherings into our daily lives? Where do we go from here? (and much much more). Looking forward to the conversation!

Healing of Love Film & Discussion

Healing of Love Film & Discussion

Healing of Love shares the revolutionary research of Tamera Healing Biotope in Portugal, who have spent 40 years developing social practices and models for a new story of free love – love that is free from fear. They reveal the connection between the war in love and our collective crises unfolding across the planet – and how we must reawaken the village as the fundamental cell of an emerging peace culture.

We’ll watch some clips from the video and open up discussion around how it applies to our personal and colective lives!

Frameworks

Frameworks

Rich, warm compositions bursting with blossoming strings, pulsing bass, and haunting vocals fill the catalog of Frameworks, Manchester-based performer and producer Matthew James Brewer. Adding his sophomore LP, KINGS, to his previous two EP’s for Loci Records last year, Brewer has built an arsenal of deeply personal songs that move the body and mind. KINGS featured Ninja Tune’s Jono McCleery, who joins fellow UK standout JP Cooper among the high-profile vocalists who have contributed to the Frameworks project across downtempo, organic house, and subtle hip-hop. His debut album, Tides, released in 2015 by First Word Records first thrust the producer into the international spotlight, granting him a following in the United States.

Frameworks has made a splash on the North American festival circuit, performing at Coachella, Electric Forest, Lightning in a Bottle, Camp Bisco, Global Eclipse Gathering, and the 20th anniversary of Shambhala. He’s also toured in Europe alongside Loci Records founder Emancipator. This year, Brewer has been touring the Frameworks live band lineup with drummer Cory Eberhard (Pretty Lights, Dubskin), violinist Jessica Borth (Spectacle), and bassist Keith Thomas (O-Neb, Philsh). Taking the Frameworks catalog to new and evocative heights, the live band brings a depth and focus that demands to be experienced.

New Moon

Noo Moon

Once, long ago, on the planet Zaiäka [Zai-ah-kah] in the oOoo galaxy, there was a being named Sh’iki (meaning “New Moon”).

Sh’iki had many light forms, plant friends and kerbinads to keep her company but she longed for the expansive understanding of what existed beyond her life in oOoo.

So, she metamorphosed into star dust and traveled in search of knowledge and understanding. She traveled alongside comets and astral currents to find a planet and life form that she could learn from. Eventually, after millions of years traveling, she discovered a glorious planet of beings that had an immense and profound ability to love. More love and care inside of them than anything she had ever witnessed. Along with this incredible ability to love, was a deep, deep sadness and pain. She watched from afar as these precious beings destroyed their planet, their relationships, their bodies and one another. She was completely taken by the bizarre pain that seemed to coat their hearts. As though, they couldn’t feel the love through all of the pain. Intrigued, she flew down through the atmosphere and landed on the planet.
Planet Earth.

Beyond wanting to learn, she wanted to do something to help these precious beings be reminded of the Love inside of them.

In order to keep her identity protected, she divided her spirit into 2 bodies (Pepper Proud & Katie Gray) and the only formal form of communication: a highly refined frequency of sound waves. Only when the two bodies align in the vibration of sound, can her message be heard.

To this day, she travels the world, channeling her spirit through animals, children and plants to do anything she can to reach the confused beings; these precious humans [hue-mins].

When in contact with this unique vibration of sound, the humans automatically align and join into the frequency of consciousness emanating from Sh’iki. Some describe it as stillness. Others feel uncontrollable joy and laughter.

What will you feel?
You’ll have to find out for yourself.
